The family tradition and the company
The family tradition goes back over 150 years of good work in the process of growing olives, symbol of the Mediterranean culture. At the very beginning our great-grandfather worked a traditional olive grove. Later on new plantations were developed in an intensive style of agriculture in which olives of the Picual, Arbequina and Picudo varieties co-existed. All the farms pride themselves in the attention to detail which ensures the attainment of top quality oil. Together with the traditional production techniques, new generations have incorporated a drip-feed irrigation system and drip-fertilization as well as mechanical picking techniques. Finally, we have decided to market our own oil including finishing with the production cycle. Due to our modest production, we care for every phase of the manufacture of Aire del Sur, the reason why we obtain an oil which is unique. |
